Check gazebo cartons, labels, damage, model numbers, manuals and storage conditions before scheduling assembly.
Count the Cartons
Compare the carrier delivery with the retailer listing. Gazebo kits often arrive on different days or from different warehouses.
Verify the Model
Confirm that model labels, color and size match the order. Similar product names can use different roof and hardware systems.
Photograph Damage
Document punctures, crushed corners, exposed metal and broken pallet bands before moving boxes.
Locate the Manual and Hardware
Some brands place hardware in a clearly labeled carton; others hide it within a roof or frame box. Do not discard small packages.
Store Components Correctly
Keep cartons dry and supported on a flat surface. Long panels and wood beams should not be left where vehicles or foot traffic can damage them.

A product link, model photo and confirmed carton count help the installer quote and schedule the correct crew.
Do Not Mix Parts From Different Cartons
When opening boxes for inspection, keep each hardware bag and small component with its original carton. Photograph the carton label before removing parts. Some gazebos include nearly identical roof rails for different sides, and mixing them makes later identification difficult. Reclose inspected boxes and protect them from moisture until the complete shipment and installation date are confirmed.
