Freestanding Patio Heater Types
Common products include propane mushroom-style heaters, tower heaters and electric freestanding units. The fuel/power method should be identified before scheduling because it determines whether the project remains ordinary assembly or introduces a regulated connection. Send the exact model and manufacturer instructions.
Base, Pole and Reflector Assembly
Assembly can include the weighted base, pole sections, burner housing, heat reflector, guards and wheels. These parts should be installed in the manufacturer order so the unit stands as designed. The service does not include fabricating a custom base or altering the heater to fit a location.
Burner, Hose and Included Components
Gas heaters may include a manufacturer-supplied hose and regulator; electric models may include a plug-in heating element or control. Installing supplied components during normal product assembly is different from repairing gas valves, changing permanent piping or performing electrical work. Those tasks require separate qualified scope.
Outdoor Placement and Clearance
Final placement should follow the manufacturer clearance requirements and the property rules for the specific location. Balconies, terraces, restaurants and shared outdoor areas can have restrictions that are not resolved by product assembly alone. Send photos of the intended area before the heater is treated as a straightforward job.
Fuel Type and Connection Boundaries
NY-GoodHome does not connect new gas lines or certify combustion systems. For grill-related assembly see Grill & BBQ Assembly; outdoor furniture uses Patio & Outdoor Furniture Assembly. Browse Outdoor Assembly for related products and use Contact with the heater model and location.
Before Scheduling
Confirm that all reflector sections, wheels, guards, fasteners and manufacturer-supplied fuel components are present. If the unit is used, damaged or already showing a burner/ignition fault, identify that separately because repair is not the same as new assembly.
Project Details to Confirm
Include the heater’s full product label, fuel type, assembled height and all supplied regulator/hose or power components. State whether the unit is new or used and whether it has ever shown an ignition, burner or electrical fault. That information separates clean product assembly from repair or regulated fuel/electrical work before a visit is booked.
