Prefabricated Panel Sauna Kits
Consumer sauna kits often use insulated or finished wall panels that lock or fasten together in a manufacturer-defined order. Send the exact product link, panel count and assembled footprint. A panelized kit is different from building a sauna room from raw lumber and insulation.
Walls, Ceiling, Door and Bench Assembly
Assembly may include wall panels, ceiling sections, glass or wood doors, benches, backrests and trim. Panels should stay labeled so openings and heater locations match the manual. Heavy glass doors or large ceiling panels should be disclosed before the project is confirmed.
Room Dimensions, Clearance and Floor Condition
Measure the room where the sauna will sit and account for door swing, ceiling height and the clearance required by the product. The existing floor must also be compatible with the sauna system. NY-GoodHome does not claim waterproofing or floor reconstruction as part of ordinary panel assembly.
Heater and Electrical Requirements
Many saunas include a heater that requires specific electrical service. Plug-in consumer components can differ from hardwired heaters needing a licensed electrician. NY-GoodHome does not claim new-circuit or heater-wiring capability without separate evidence. The power requirement should be identified before assembly is scheduled.
Indoor Access and Component Staging
Large panels may need to travel through narrow doors, stairs or elevators. Send access photos and note whether all cartons are already in the final room. If the kit includes unusual ventilation or plumbing components, list them explicitly.
Kit Assembly vs Custom Sauna Construction
This page covers prefabricated systems, not custom framed steam rooms or built-in saunas. Electrical work can route to General Electrical Services only as a qualification boundary, not an implied NY-GoodHome trade service. Use Contact with product and power details.
Project Details to Confirm
Provide the complete sauna model, panel dimensions and heater specification, and state whether the heater is plug-in or requires hardwiring. Show the final floor and surrounding room, including door clearance and ventilation openings. If the kit requires plumbing, steam generation, new electrical service or construction beyond prefabricated panels, those items need separate qualified scope.
