TV Stands, Media Consoles and Entertainment Centers
Products can range from low open stands to large cabinets with towers, doors and shelving. Send the exact product link and finished dimensions. Large entertainment centers may need to be assembled close to their final wall because moving the finished unit through a room can be difficult.
Shelves, Doors, Drawers and Cable Openings
Assembly may include adjustable shelves, hinges, drawers, back panels and cable-management openings. These parts should be aligned before electronics are loaded into the unit. Glass doors or integrated lighting should be disclosed before scheduling.
Leveling and Final Placement
A media console should sit steadily on the floor and align with the wall/furniture around it. Adjustable feet can be set as provided by the manufacturer. NY-GoodHome does not modify the cabinet to compensate for severely uneven floors or custom wall conditions.
Large Media Furniture and Apartment Access
Measure stair turns, elevator openings and the room if the product uses long tops or tall side towers. If the furniture arrives in multiple boxes, keep the cartons grouped by product. Moving services and disposal are not automatically included.
Media Furniture vs TV Wall Mounting
Wall-mounted screens use TV & Soundbar Mounting. Broad mixed furniture uses Furniture Assembly, while storage cabinets have their own page. Built-in/custom media storage can belong to carpentry. Use Contact with the console model and room photos.
Before Assembly
Confirm shelves, door hardware, drawer packs and all back panels are present. If the furniture is used or partially assembled, provide photos so repair or reassembly is not mistaken for new-product assembly.
Project Details to Confirm
List any doors, drawers, glass panels, lighting or tall side towers included with the unit and provide finished dimensions. If the console will support a large TV, identify the manufacturer’s stated capacity rather than asking NY-GoodHome to certify it. Note whether wall anti-tip hardware is included and show the wall if attachment is expected.
