Customer-Supplied vs Provider-Supplied Lights
State whether the customer already owns the lights, clips, timers and extension products.
Rooflines, Windows, Trees and Walkways
Identify the exact installation areas and approximate height. Ground-level shrubs or railings are different from multi-story rooflines or large trees. High-access work should be screened separately and may be outside normal capability.
Timers, Extension Routing and Existing Outlets
Plug-in timers and listed extension products can be part of a temporary consumer-lighting setup when used according to manufacturer guidance and existing suitable power. New outlets or fixed wiring are electrical work and are not included.
Ladder and Height Access
Send wide exterior photos showing eaves, gutters, balconies and terrain. Height and ground conditions determine whether ordinary ladder access is appropriate. The page must not promise roof walking, lift operation or high-rise façade work without proven capability.
Installation, Takedown and Storage as Separate Scope
Installation does not automatically include later takedown, labeling, storage or replacement of failed lights. Those items should be listed independently if the business chooses to offer them. Nothing in market reference current search results should be copied as a business promise.
Seasonal vs Permanent Lighting
For permanent track systems use Permanent Outdoor Lighting Installation. Other exterior fixtures use Outdoor Lighting Installation. Plug-in timer questions can connect to Light Timer Installation. Use Contact with photos, height and product ownership for scope review.
Before Seasonal Lighting Is Scheduled
Provide photos of every requested area and separate ground-level work from roofline/tree work. List whether the lights and clips are customer-supplied and whether suitable existing outdoor outlets are available. If the customer expects design, product supply, takedown, storage or bulb replacement, list those separately because they are not automatic parts of the current NY-GoodHome service facts.
