Freestanding Hot Tubs, Spas and Cold Plunges
Provide the exact unit, dry/filled weight, dimensions and manufacturer site requirements. A plug-in portable plunge differs from a large spa requiring dedicated utilities.
Indoor, Outdoor and Rooftop Locations
Indoor units can affect drainage, floor loading and moisture. Outdoor units can require slabs/decks and weather considerations. Rooftop installations add structural and building-access issues that need professional review.
Filled Weight, Floor or Deck Support and Access
Filled units can impose heavy concentrated loads. The website must not certify a floor/deck from photos. Long carry paths, stairs, elevators and crane/rigging needs also move the job beyond ordinary product placement.
Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage and Chiller Requirements
Dedicated circuits, disconnects, gas, water, drains, pumps or chillers are licensed-trade concerns. NY-GoodHome does not advertise those services through this page while qualifications remain unverified.
Delivery Path and Final Placement
Provide the largest unit dimension and narrowest doorway/gate/elevator. Equipment may not fit after railings or doors are in place. Specialty moving/rigging is not automatically included.
Permit, Health and Trade Boundaries
A Hot Tub Cover Installation request can be a narrow accessory service, while Hot Tub Surround Installation is structural and blocked. Electrical and plumbing pages carry their own qualification limits. Do not solicit full spa-installation bookings through Contact until a lawful trade/contractor model is established.
Future Publication Requirements
To publish this as a service, the owner must define which unit types and locations are accepted and identify the qualified providers responsible for electrical, plumbing, drainage, structural review and any building approvals. Delivery/rigging responsibility must also be clear. A customer-supplied plug-in unit placed on a verified suitable surface is not the same service as a permanently connected spa or rooftop plunge.
This page is kept for topic coverage, but NY-GoodHome does not present the regulated or specialist work as an available service until the required qualifications are established.
