Safety Gates and Stair Openings
Provide gate model, opening width and whether mounting is pressure-fit or hardware-mounted. Stair-top/bottom conditions and banister/wall surfaces should be shown clearly.
Cabinet and Drawer Latches
Different latches fit different door/drawer constructions. Send product and cabinet photos rather than assuming one latch works everywhere.
Furniture Anti-Tip Hardware
Manufacturer-supplied anti-tip kits can be reviewed against the wall/furniture. The page does not certify load capacity or universal anchors. Furniture assembly can connect to Furniture Assembly.
Corners, Edges and Household Hazards
Adhesive guards/covers can be customer-selected products; NY-GoodHome does not claim a complete hazard audit.
NYC Windows, Radiators and Specialist Boundaries
Window-guard requirements, radiator covers and electrical outlet changes can have specific rules or specialist needs. Those are not silently included in a baby-proofing package.
Product Installation vs Professional Safety Assessment
Handrails/stairs have dedicated pages when relevant. Use Contact with room/product list and photos; the scope remains product installation, not certification or a guarantee against injury.
Before Baby-Proofing Installation Is Scheduled
Create a room-by-room product list: gate location/type, cabinet/drawer latches, furniture anti-tip kits and other selected products. Measure stair/door openings and show the actual wall, banister or cabinet construction. State whether window guards, radiator work or electrical changes are expected so regulated/specialist items are separated. NY-GoodHome installs defined products but does not perform a comprehensive professional child-safety audit.
