Running, Leaking and Weak-Flush Toilets
Describe whether water runs continuously, leaks at tank/base/supply or flushes poorly. Do not assume one tank component is the cause.
Flappers, Fill Valves and Flush Hardware
Selected customer-supplied/compatible tank parts can be a narrow repair type if the scope is confirmed. Internal model compatibility matters.
Wax Ring, Base Leak and Flange Questions
A base leak can involve seal or damaged flange/floor. Flange/plumbing alterations are licensed plumbing scope.
Replace a Standard Toilet
A compatible floor-mounted toilet in an existing sound rough-in differs from changing the rough-in or installing a wall-hung carrier.
Wall-Hung and Smart Toilet Boundaries
In-wall carriers, hardwired power and specialty plumbing are not ordinary replacement scope.
When a Licensed Plumber Is Required
Bidet products use Bidet Installation, safety aids use Toilet Safety Installation, and full bathroom work uses remodeling. Use Contact with toilet model/symptoms and existing-connection photos for screening.
Before Toilet Work Is Screened
Provide toilet model/type if known, safe photos of the base/tank/supply and exact symptom—running, weak flush, base leak or replacement request. State whether the existing rough-in and shutoff remain unchanged. Wall-hung toilets, damaged flanges, floor rot, relocated plumbing or smart/hardwired products need specialist scope beyond routine component or compatible fixture replacement.
Parts of this project may require a licensed, structural or specialist provider. The page keeps those boundaries explicit.
