Framed, Semi-Frameless and Sliding Enclosures
Provide exact product and opening range. Stock kits differ from custom-measured glass panels.
Opening Measurements and Tub Edge
Measure width at several heights and show tub ledge/curb. Out-of-square openings can affect fit.
Wall Material and Mounting
Tile, fiberglass surround and other walls require compatible drilling/anchors. Hidden plumbing should be considered before drilling.
Tracks, Rollers, Hinges and Seals
Existing enclosure repairs can involve rollers, guides, seals or hardware if compatible parts are available.
Existing Enclosure Repair vs Replacement
Bent tracks, broken glass or obsolete hardware can make replacement more practical. Glass handling may require specialists.
Stock System vs Custom Glass
Bathtub work uses Bathtub Repair & Replacement, shower tile uses its own page and sealant uses Caulking Services. Use Contact with exact dimensions/product/photos.
Before Tub-Enclosure Work Is Scheduled
Measure the opening at multiple heights and provide the stock enclosure’s stated fit range. Photograph both walls, tub ledge, existing holes/tracks and any tile damage. State whether old glass/frames must be removed. Custom glass, drilling near hidden plumbing, severely out-of-square openings or damaged waterproofing should be identified before a stock enclosure install/repair is accepted.
