Round, Rectangle and Specialty Trampolines
Round and rectangular systems use different frame geometry and mat/spring layouts. Some brands use fiberglass/flexible rods instead of metal springs. Send the exact model because assembly order and enclosure hardware can be brand-specific.
Frame, Mat, Springs or Flexible Rod Systems
The frame should be completed and stable before the mat is tensioned. Spring or rod installation normally follows a balanced sequence to distribute tension. NY-GoodHome does not modify the frame or certify a product beyond normal manufacturer-directed assembly.
Safety Enclosures, Ladders and Accessories
Enclosure poles, nets, pads, ladders and basketball accessories can add many parts after the main mat is installed. All manufacturer safety components should be present. Missing net hardware or damaged frame pieces should be resolved before the product is treated as complete.
Site Surface and Assembly Clearance
The trampoline should sit on a surface and in a clearance area that matches the manufacturer guidance. Major excavation, in-ground pits or landscaping are outside this page. Send a wide site photo so fences, trees, slopes and nearby structures are visible.
Above-Ground vs In-Ground Trampoline Scope
This page is for above-ground consumer systems. In-ground trampoline construction is a different project. Existing trampolines that need removal use Trampoline Disassembly, while Playset & Swing Set Installation covers other backyard recreation systems. Browse Outdoor Assembly or use Contact for mixed projects.
Before Assembly
Confirm that the frame, mat, springs/rods, pads and enclosure boxes have all arrived. If components are rusted, bent or previously used, describe that condition because repair is not the same as new assembly.
Project Details to Confirm
Include the finished diameter or rectangle dimensions and a wide site photo showing fences, trees, slopes and nearby structures. Confirm that all frame sections, mat, springs/rods, padding and enclosure cartons are present. If the manufacturer specifies ground anchors, send those instructions so anchoring can be reviewed separately from the basic above-ground assembly scope.
